It may take some additional troubleshooting on your end to get things working with your specific Mac model, but heres the general process. Your Mac should be connected to the same network as the Xbox for this to work, obviously. This is free. After installing Bluestacks, open the program and navigate to the preferences menu. Adjust the Bluestacks settings (I got it working correctly with 1920x1080, 240dpi, 4 cores, 4096MB memory). Xbox App Air Trial And ErrorThis is the step that may take some trial and error to get right. Once it opens, it should start with a Home and a My Apps tab open. Click on My Apps. At this point the screen should look somewhat like an Android device. Click the Play Store icon, sign in with a Google account (you may need to add a payment method to your Google account if you do not otherwise have one already associated), search for Xbox, and download the Xbox App. It may take a few minutes to download and install, but you should get a Mac system notification from Bluestacks when it is ready. Once it open this time, click the My Apps tab, then click the icon that is a circle with 6 dots in it, and you should now see the Xbox App installed. You can also navigate to the Xbox App via the Play Store and launch it from there. If it takes you all the way through the sign-in process, youre nearly good to go. If the Bluestacks app turns into a blank black screen at this point, you may need to adjust your Bluestacks settings until this step works (restart Bluestacks any time you change those settings). Click back to the My Apps tab of Bluestacks, click the circle with 6 dots icon again, and open Settings. Scroll down to Date and Time and make sure that both Automatic Date Time and Automatic Time Zone are both set to enabled. Navigate back to the Xbox App, which should have its own tab in Bluestacks still. Open the menu in the top left of the Xbox App, and select the Console option, and click to Connect To Your Xbox One. If it finds your Xbox on the network, click it and it will try to connect. If it doesnt automatically find your Xbox or it acts like it wants to connect only for a brief moment but doesnt connect with error 8000001e, do not fret. Go into your network settings on your Xbox One and see what your Xboxs IP address is set to. Go back to the Xbox App and click on the option below that says Console Not Listed Enter IP Address. Just a note that this is not a process that is guaranteed to work, may take some troubleshooting, or may not work with your specific Mac model or MacOS version. But I figured that this may be able to help someone out there.
